umented and built HTML FAQ page for same. Produced with

Book for Focal Press -- 200 pages

Wrote, illustrated, and designed and executed the
layout for POST-EXPOSURE, a 75,000 word, 110 illustration
book on advanced photographic printing techniques. Pub-
lished in November, 1997. Produced with IBM VoiceType,
Microsoft Word (Windows/OS2), Adobe Illustrator (Win NT)
and Adobe FrameMaker (Mac).

Computer language programmers' manual for Electric Communities -- 60+ pages

Documented the philosophy, instruction set and de-
sign principles for programming in E, a secure, deferred-
transaction language created by Electric Communities as
an extension to Java. Produced in WordPerfect (DOS),
Nisus (Mac) and FrameMaker (Mac).


Computer hardware technical manual for Be Labs-- 200+ pages, including several dozen illustrations

Wrote machine architecture description from designers'
conversations and created timing diagrams for instruction
execution. Used schematics and data sheets to define signal
outputs and register results from signal inputs and commands
to registers. Documented peripheral chips, instruction,
memory mappings. Produced in WordPerfect, TurboCAD (DOS).


"Feasibility Study of Small Space Probes to Photograph the Moon" (w/Paula J. Butler), Deep Space Missions for Small Satellites, Proceedings of the 2nd Annual AIAA/USU Conference on Small Satellites: Utah State University, 20 pages)

The paper analyzed mission requirements, mass budgets,
and costs. Produced in EMACS, Lotus 123 (DOS).
