Here is the latest and bestest (and last) info on the Ctein London and Paris meetups:
From Roger Bradbury, organizer of the London gathering:
There’s been a change of venue, though the day and time remain the same. We are now meeting at The Photographer’s Gallery Café, 16–18 Ramillies Street, London, W1F 7LW. Ctein and Paula will meet us there on Saturday 7th May, at 2:30 p.m. Oxford Circus is the nearest underground station.
The café’s website shows that there seems to be quite a range of food. If we are going to be handling other people's cameras and/or photos, it would probably be a good plan to eat beforehand, to avoid leaving greasy thumb prints.
If you are interested, please email me via my contact page. This would help me to get an idea of numbers and if we have to make further alterations to the plan, I can contact you. You will also get my phone number.
From Thomas Paris, organizer of the Paris gathering:
Ctein and Paula will be in Paris this week and they've agreed to let me (Thomas Paris) pick a place where we could get together with some of you Parisian readers of TOP. We're hoping to meet you at the Moncoeur Belleville café on Thursday evening, 28th April, from 7:30 p.m. on. You'll find it by Parc de Belleville, at 1, rue des Envierges and can get there with metro lines 11 (Pyrénées station) and 2 (Belleville station). They serve both drinks and food, so you can have your dinner there, but you'll want to be careful with food as I'm pretty sure we'll be showing both gear and prints.
Booking is not necessary, but I would appreciate it if you could shoot me an email ( mercen@gmail.com ), so I could tell the café how many people they should expect will show up. That would also give me a chance to keep you informed should we have a change of plan at the last minute.
This supersedes all previous announcements. From now on if you're interested in either gathering please contact Roger or Thomas directly.
Mike (for Roger, Thomas, and Ctein)
